We are also enjoying the annual missions conference at our church, featuring Jack and Jean Shannon.

It's been a busy weekend but we have been blessed with many fun memories. And it has been a blast playing with our new digital camera.

Fall has arrived, Squirrels are having fun!

Fall has arrived and the leaves are beginning to change. It is a beautiful time of year and we are thankful for the colors of the changing leaves, the crisp clean fall air, and the times of celebration coming in the next few months (and the heaters in our house that keep us warm) !!

I went to Shanghai...

Yeah... this wall wouldn't stay up unless I supported it... China is a great country. The food is good if you find some good restaurants (beware the street vendors if you aren't used to the germs). The architecture in Shanghai is simply amazing and new; most buildings are younger than I am. The culture is rich and, yeah, I got to meet Steven Chu, Nobel Laureate. It was a quick trip to the Orient that would have been better and longer if Karen came with me...she had classes at the University.

We've been to Atlanta...

What a time...
It was a blast spending a few days this summer with Joel and Angie Ballew down in Rabun Gap, GA...about two hours outside of Atlanta. There is a great churrasco, Carro de Boi, that is pretty cheap if you go for lunch.

It was good....
